It’s no secret that Essendon Restaurant and Bar, Mr McCracken strives to create a diverse and innovative menu to suit the amazing culture mix for our guests.
The Essendon dining culture is now well established and continues to be a great place for incredible food, drinks and socialising.
We love being in the ‘fast-paced’, vibrant and fun of one of Essendon’s favourite bars and restaurants. And in turn, we reflect this in our menu (and service). Think live music, open fire, acoustic guitar and some of the best Essendon food around.
Although we are very proud of our whole menu including premium wagyu steaks, amazing pizzas, and mouth-watering smoked cheddar croquettes, our head chef, Adam is the master when it comes to dessert.
More specifically chocolate mousse! We think we have the best ever Essendon Food, but Adam’s desserts are another level.
Adam is a firm believer that amazing dishes start with amazing, great quality produce. Nothing but the best cream and Callebaut chocolate is used to create the most smooth and indulgent mousse ever!
Adam’s latest creation is no exception and it is all sorts of delicious! We call it, “Inspiration of Bounty”.
Let us set the scene. Picture a beautifully creamy indulgent mousse, generously dipped in rich dark chocolate and toasted coconut.
It doesn’t stop there; it is then served with a delicate 24hr toasted coconut ice-cream on a bed of coconut crumble.
But wait, there is more! It’s then topped off with a tangy mango jell and freeze dried young coconut.
This dish will certainly take you to ‘dessert heaven’ and back! It’s no surprise they are one of the most popular dishes on the menu.
We love to bring new and exciting dishes to the already highly popular menu and we see this is as a great time for us to brainstorm new creations to bring you the best Essendon Restaurant Menu in Melbourne.
