Kate joined the tight-knit Mr McCracken family at the start of May this year, and has very quickly become a great asset to the team. Kicking off her passion for hospitality by completing a bachelor degree in event management at William Angliss, Kate has since been working in the industry for 8 years,

100 Years of Essendon Fields Airport

On Wednesday, 11th August 2021, our very own Essendon Fields Airport turns 100!

We are so grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing community in Essendon Fields and even more to be in the midst of one of the world’s oldest airports! We may only have been a part of the community since 2017, but we have been so welcomed by everyone that it feels like it’s been a lifetime.

The Essendon Fields Airport was first approved by the Minister for Defence in 1921 which when the development of Melbourne’s Essendon Aerodrome begun!

What Truly Matters is on the Inside​

We are making our Essendon Fields restaurant sparkling new and ready to re-open soon. As we get back to some type of normality, I am reflective of the time spent at home, when we were all unable to dine out.
